Judi Mansfield-Jones, CQA, CQM is President of nanoQuest inc., a consulting and training firm working with organizations to realize their quality and business goals through the design of quality management systems.
With over twenty-five years of experience initiating, developing, and implementing community and business projects that result in beneficial and innovative solutions, Judi provides results oriented training and consulting.
Both a project implementer and trainer, Judi has achieved accreditation as a Certified Quality Auditor and a Certified Quality Manager, through the American Society of Quality (ASQ). Passionate about quality, Judi takes an active role in the Hamilton Section of ASQ and currently serves in the role of section Chair.
Judi's training development background was established at Mohawk College, as a member of a self-managed consulting team. She independently helped over 200 organizations gain strength from within, through the development of their Human Resources and Quality Systems. Responsible for developing and defining strategic initiatives, she ensured successful outcomes through the effective implementation of technical shop floor and supervisory skills development, survey development, continuous improvement teams and ISO 9000 implementation activities, including process/procedures development and internal quality audits.
Since 1997 nanoQuest inc. has assisted business, public and non-profit organizations achieve their goals and objectives. All projects reflect the unique culture and circumstance of the organization through customized training and support solutions.
Rory Jones M.Ed., CQA
Rory is a Certified Quality Auditor with a background in Education and Health and Safety. He is experienced in both private and not for profit sectors and has been most active recently in development and implementation of ISO 9001:2008, Quality and ISO 14001:2004 Environmental management systems.
He is a former Health & Safety inspector in a large multi-site institution and an experienced writer of policies, procedures, job descriptions and other documentation required by organizations to comply with today’s legislative and regulative requirements. Process maps are a specialty and Rory is able to train personnel to simplify the most complex processes into easily understood steps.
Together these skills enable Rory to work collaboratively with a wide variety of organizations whether seeking full certification to ISO standards, Balanced Scorecard, Needs Analysis, Auditing, simple consulting assistance in documentation and most importantly training.
A skilled teacher and trainer with a Master’s Degree in Education he spent many years with a large metropolitan school district and held numerous leadership roles. He has researched, written and implemented learning modules, curriculum, and training packages for students, teachers and administrators. Rory ensures that nanoQuest training workshops adhere to the principals of the “adult learning” model and incorporate the four learning modalities and four learning styles. This ensures all participants learning needs are met. Training modules are further customized to the unique needs of organizations or in public offerings to the unique needs of the registrants. His experience enables him to address the training needs of those whose English is a second language and a diversity of literacy levels.
Rory maintains an active role in his community having held a number of leadership roles in volunteer organizations. His interests are primarily directed towards disabled issues and he is past secretary to the Board of the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation based in South Carolina. He is presently secretary to the local ASQ Section.
